It all starts with a great domain name.
You have expressed interest in purchasing a premium domain name. Premium, generic domain names are high-value domains that have been previously registered. They are often popular terms, easy to remember, have strong branding potential and attract natural type-in traffic. While the selling price for domains is ultimately up to the domain owner, prices for premium, generic domain names are often based on these factors.
Acceptable bids vary, some sell for $3,000 to $5,000, better names sell for tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars, and of course there are a few that sell for millions of dollars. A domain will never sell for a few hundred dollars. Registration fees alone for the last 10 years are more than that, and most domains generate at least a few hundred dollars in revenue per year.
